WordCamping in the Mewar kingdom: WordCamp Udaipur

A little off the time, but an after-experience WordCamp blog is an essential. I hope, you agree!

With a little time left after WordCamp Pune, I had the opportunity to attend the amazing WordCamp Udaipur. The excitement was even more due to the venue of this event – Udaipur, the capital of the former princely state of Mewar with my family.

The @WCUdaipur organizers had offered the best in segment digital event promotion on Twitter which I absolutely loved. Literally on their feet to timely respond to all WordPressers, the social media team working for WordCamp Udaipur indeed deserves appreciation. Well done, guys!

The Event:

The brightly lit venue ‘P.P. Singhal Auditorium, UCCI Bhawan’ was cupped in majestically colorful ambiance; all thanks to the traditional Rajasthani décor theme they followed. I am very sure that all the attendees loved it too!

After the registration and the breakfast were done followed by the opening remarks, it was time for the informative yet fun speaker sessions. Some of the sessions that allied with my area of relevance in WordPress were:

The Panel Discussion – Women in WordPress was something much needed. I appreciate all the participants who justified the panel. I hit quite a tune with people from MilesWeb. See you guys @WCMumbai!

I attended the WordCamp Udaipur in the capacity of a sponsor for WbcomDesigns and as a representative from BuddyBoss. I was happy to receive a good traction for the sponsor stall for BuddyBoss. Also, BuddyBoss is hiring!

Words just don’t carry the gravity of actions and this comes equally in terms of the organizing team at WordCamp Udaipur. The after-party was equally amazing where I had the chance to interact with other people from the WordPress Industry.

After the event officially came to an end, many attendees, much like me made their way to soak up in the amazing blend of the delightful beauty of the placid lakes, mountains, architecture, history and culture, and majestic palaces of Udaipur.
