Set default avatar image for BuddyPress

Sure, setting a default avatar image for BuddyPress is a relatively easy process. Here’s how you can do it:

  1. Log in to your WordPress dashboard and navigate to the “Settings” menu.
  2. Click on “Discussion” to open the Discussion settings page.
  3. Scroll down to the “Avatars” section and locate the “Default Avatar” option.
  4. Choose the default avatar image that you want to use for your BuddyPress site from the available options.
  5. Click the “Save Changes” button at the bottom of the page to save your new default avatar.

Once you have set a default avatar image, it will be used as the default profile picture for any new users who register on your BuddyPress site and do not upload a profile picture of their own.

You can also customize the default avatar image by creating your own custom image and adding it to the default avatar options using a plugin like “Add New Default Avatar”. This plugin allows you to upload and use your own custom avatar image as the default avatar image.
